HYDRAULIC FRACTURING CUP

Rubberatkins has developed a heavy-duty, high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) resistant fracturing cup, optimised for extreme conditions and has outperformed the competition.

Collaborating with global oilfield service partners, Rubberatkins developed a solution to meet the application and environmental challenges. Product validation was tailored to mimic downhole conditions:

  • Pressure and temperature cycling

  • Liner connection trip-in/out testing (API BTC)

  • Service fluid, material compatibility and ageing

Articles returned from the field were analysed to enable further optimisation of the product using state-of-the-art Finite Element Analytical (FEA) techniques and proprietary manufacturing processes. The cup has been proven capable of multiple pressure and temperature cycles with static and dynamic pressure holding capacity, across the operational service range. Repositioning of the cup in situ can be achieved with ease, with fluid flow bypassing at low pressures from the rear of the cup.

OPERATIONAL SERVICE RANGE:

  • Temperature range of 77°F (25°C) to 275°F (150°C)

  • A maximum pressure differential of 10,000psi (68.95MPa)
